Success Starts When You Stop Being Shy

Homer Skelton Ford's Blog | Success Starts When You Stop Being Shy

One thing I've learned since getting into the car business is that you can't be shy.

When I first started, I kept wondering why people weren't coming to see me. I was posting every now and then and hoping customers would find me. Then it clicked—I had to put myself out there more.

The car business isn't just about knowing vehicles. It's about building relationships and letting people know who you are. If you're too quiet, people don't know you're here or that you're ready to help.

So I've been stepping outside my comfort zone by posting more on social media, making videos, sharing customer deliveries, and simply showing my personality. The more active I've become, the more people have started reaching out.

If you're trying to grow in sales, don't be afraid to be seen. Someone out there is looking for help—they just have to know you exist first.

If you're looking for your next vehicle, I'd love the opportunity to help you. Come see me, Kimberly Ramirez, at Homer Skelton Ford!
