When I first started working in the car business, I thought it was going to be all about trucks, numbers, and keys.

 

And don’t get me wrong… I love a good truck.

 

But what I didn’t expect was how much I would end up loving the people.

 

Because the truth is… the best part of this job isn’t the vehicles.

 

It’s the customers.

 

 

Every Person Who Walks In Has a Story

 

 

One of the coolest things about what I do is that no two customers are ever the same.

 

Some people come in excited, ready to pick out their dream ride like it’s Christmas morning.

 

Others walk in nervous, unsure, overwhelmed, just hoping someone will actually listen to them.

 

And every single one of them has a life behind them.

 

A story.

 

A reason they’re here.

 

Sometimes it’s a first car.

 

Sometimes it’s a fresh start.

 

Sometimes it’s a mom upgrading to something safer for her babies.

 

Sometimes it’s someone finally doing something for themselves after years of putting everyone else first.

 

And I get to be a small part of that moment.

 

 

I Get to Meet Every Kind of Personality

 

 

This job has introduced me to the funniest, sweetest, most interesting people I’ve ever met.

 

I’ve had customers who:

 

  • Crack jokes the entire test drive
  • Know every engine spec better than I do
  • Bring their whole family like it’s a field trip
  • Are quiet at first, then open up like we’ve been friends forever
  • Walk in saying “I’m just looking”… and leave smiling in their new ride

 

 

I’ve met old souls, wild spirits, hardworking dads, sassy grandmas, country boys, city girls, first-time buyers, collectors, business owners… all of it.

 

It’s like the world walks through our doors.

 

 

It’s More Than Selling Cars

 

 

People think car sales is just transactions.

 

But for me, it’s relationships.

 

I don’t want someone to feel like they were “sold” something.

 

I want them to feel taken care of.

 

Like they had someone in their corner.

 

Like they mattered.

 

Because they do.

 

I genuinely care about every person who trusts me with something as big as a vehicle.

 

That’s a huge decision.

 

That’s someone’s life, commute, family trips, memories… all wrapped up in four wheels.

 

 

The Connections Are Real

 

 

Some customers start off as strangers…

 

And end up feeling like family.

 

I’ve had people hug me after buying.

 

Text me pictures of their new truck parked in the driveway.

 

Send me updates months later.

 

And it blows my mind.

 

I’m honored every time.

 

Because they could’ve gone anywhere.

 

And they chose me.

 

 

I’m Grateful for Every Single One

 

 

Whether someone buys today or just stops by to talk…

 

I’m thankful.

 

Thankful for the trust.

 

Thankful for the laughs.

 

Thankful for the stories.

 

Thankful for the reminder that everyone is living a life just as full and complicated and beautiful as mine.

 

My customers inspire me constantly.

 

And they’re the reason I love what I do.
