Today is day one.
Not “I’ve been planning it forever,” not “I’ve got it all figured out”… just straight up day one of moving out on my own into a camper.
And if I’m being honest? It’s a mix of excitement, nerves, and a little bit of “what did I just do?” 😅
Everything feels new. The space is smaller than I’m used to, but somehow it feels bigger too—because it’s mine. Every little corner, every cabinet, every spot I decide to put something… it’s all me.
No backup plan. No safety net. Just me figuring it out as I go.
I’m realizing really quick that camper life isn’t just “cute and cozy.” It’s real life, just in a smaller space. You notice everything more. The sounds, the temperature, how important it is to stay organized. Even the little things—like where you set your keys—matter now.
But there’s something kinda powerful about it.
Sitting here on my first day, I can already tell this is going to change me. It’s going to teach me patience, responsibility, and how to rely on myself in ways I never had to before.
It’s not perfect. I’m still figuring out where everything goes. I’m probably going to run into problems. Something will break, something will go wrong—that’s just part of it.
But this?
This is mine.
And for the first time, I’m building something that’s fully my own. No shortcuts, no handouts—just me putting one foot in front of the other.
So here’s to day one.
To the messy start.
To figuring it out as I go.
Because every strong story starts somewhere… and this one starts in a camper. 🫶
